BASF undertakes US$200 million investment in US kaolin business

Speciality chemicals and life sciences company Lonza has recently inaugurated a new research and development centre in Salto, near São Paulo, Brazil, for a reported initial investment of BRL8 million (c. €1.85 million). The Salto Technology Center (STC) will serve South American customers in all six of the company's business areas, including Coatings and Composites.
